Behind every strong business is a story — and for Valley Fire & Security Ltd, it all started with Warren.
With over 25 years of experience in the fire and security industry, Warren has worked his way up from apprentice to Engineering Director, building a career rooted in hands-on expertise, a deep understanding of the industry, and a genuine passion for protecting people and places.
From Apprentice to Industry Expert
Warren’s journey began in the electrical trade, learning the ropes at Brook Motors as an apprentice. It was here he first developed the technical foundation and attention to detail that would shape the rest of his career.
Not long after, Warren moved into the fire and security sector, working with respected local firms where he gained practical experience across a wide range of systems and client environments. These years gave him an appreciation for how to balance real-world needs with technical compliance — a mindset that still drives the business today.
The Chubb Years
Warren spent over a decade at Chubb Fire, one of the industry’s biggest names, where he built on his knowledge and earned key qualifications in fire safety systems. During this time, he honed his skills in design, installation, and system maintenance — and saw first-hand the impact that well-delivered fire protection has on businesses.
It was also here that his commitment to compliance, standards, and best practice really took shape.
Going Independent
Armed with experience and a clear vision for doing things right, Warren spent several years running businesses in various forms — from self-employment to partnerships. Each venture taught him more about the industry, about leadership, and about what clients really want: honest advice, reliable service, and someone who sticks to their word.
The Launch of Valley Fire & Security Ltd
In early 2024, Warren brought together a team of like-minded professionals and officially launched Valley Fire & Security Ltd.
The goal? To build something that wasn’t just technically excellent — but built around people. A business that was clear, committed, and focused on long-term partnerships, not quick wins.
Today, Warren leads the engineering side of the business, making sure every system meets the highest standards and every client feels confident in the protection they’ve put in place.
